Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attack on America. The Twin Towers in New York City and the Pentagon were targeted. There also was a failed attack on the White House. Mrs. Young spoke to students today about her experience witnessing the attack.

Mrs. Eggleton's English 12 class read the Old English elegy poem "The Seafarer" in class this week. Students compared portions of the poem in Old English to Modern English translations. This exercise helped students recognize how language changes and evolves over time.
