Mrs. Thompson's physical science students completed a "Power Strip Lab". Students had to take apart a power strip, wire it to a battery, then use alligator clips and three mini lights to figure out how to make them all three turn on!

Community Service Opportunity
Students needing volunteer hours may come help with the Special Olympics this FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11th from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. The event will take place at Thunder Lanes Bowling Center in Pine Bluff.
Please find Mrs. Debbie Jones once you arrive.
Monday evening the Beta Club Induction ceremony was held in the Doug Dorris Performing Arts Center.

Any sophomore who did not have a picture made on picture day will have a picture made this Wednesday, October 9. This picture day is only for sophomores who did not get a picture.
We will have a retake day on October 23 for those who need to take a make-up picture.
Any senior who did not have a picture made on retake day, and needs a picture made for the yearbook, will be able to take the tux or drape pose on Wednesday, October 9.
This will only be a yearbook photo.
There is no cap and gown at this time.

The WHHS band participated in the University of Arkansas at Monticello's Marching Invitational. Our band received First Division (highest) Ratings for Drum Majors, Colorguard, Drumline and Band, Best Band in Class, and Overall Best Band of the Day. Congratulations!

WHHS Beta Club officers, Jacey Jackson, Lincoln Hood, Lindsey Spurlin, and Taylor Irvin are ready for Beta Club New Member Induction on Monday, October 7 at 6:00 PM!
The Induction Ceremony will be held in the Doug Dorris Performing Arts Center.

During RTI this afternoon, the Ladies of Excellence had a guest speaker. Lori Walker-Guelache, the Director of Economic & Community Development, shared the comprehensive perspective of Community Development.



Raul Hidalgo participated in the 2024 Tennessee Open and State Chess Championship held in Memphis. He received second place in the Amateur category. Congratulations, Raul!


WHHS graduate, Amberly Wernecke, through her employer, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, donates annually to White Hall High School.
