White Hall High School is participating in a nationwide service project to give 1 million books to underserved youth in 45 states.

White Hall High School announced today that they will be joining over 35,000 high school students nationwide to give one million books to underserved youth in their local communities as part of Chick-fil-A Leader AcademyTM, a national high school leadership program.

Students are taking part in the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy Kickoff Experience featuring the one million books giveaway service project at Taylor Elementary on September 20, Moody Elementary on September 27, Hardin Elementary on October 4, and Gandy Elementary October 10.

The one million books are sponsored by Chick-fil-A, Inc. and will be packaged and given by students at the local elementary schools. More than 1,100 high schools take part in the seven-month program representing local communities across 45 states.

Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is a national high school leadership program focused on Impact Through Action. The seven-month program empowers high school students to put leadership principles into practice through sacral student-led community service projects that culminate in a year end Impact Project.
