White Hall High School

Alyssa Amerson a senior at WHHS, competed in STAR Events for FCCLA . Her event was Public Policy Advocate, and she placed 3rd at the State level. 

To continue her advocacy, Alyssa sold t-shirts, raising over $300. She donated the profits to the Area 9 (Jefferson, Prairie, Arkansas, Grant, and Lincoln Counties) Special Olympics.

She chose this organization because it pushes for inclusion in schools and communities. She stated that everyone regardless of learning style, disability, or difference deserves the right to be included and have the same opportunities as anyone else. Congratulations Alyssa!
