Taylor Elementary 5th grade students worked with U of A STEAM in a Design Challenge. Students used the Engineering Design Process to complete the Moving Outward Design Challenge. Students considered how a seed is dispersed away from a host tree. Working in groups, they constructed a device that would transport a seed as far as possible. The students had a great time using critical thinking skills to create their device. Thank you to U of A Steam for a afternoon full of fun!!
