The White Hall School District has experienced an increase in COVID-19 staff cases which has impacted our ability to adequately staff our campuses. The district will use Alternate Methods of Instruction (AMI) Days from January 12th through January 14th. As previously scheduled, school will be dismissed on Monday, January 17th in observance of Martin Luther King Day. Students will return to campus on Tuesday, January 18th.
From January 12-14th, students will be provided instruction through google classroom. In order to be counted present, students must attend the classroom google meet and submit all assignments. For middle school and high school students, each class period will hold a google meet.
Our teachers will be on-site during this time. If you are unable to provide childcare for your student during this closure, they may attend on-site instruction. Transportation will not be provided. Students who choose to attend on-site instruction will follow their daily schedule. Adjustments may be made due to teacher absences. Normal check-out procedures will be followed.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students attending on-site instruction as well as those attending virtually. Click here for more information.
If your child is sick with any illness, they should not return to school until they are symptom-free for 24 hours. Any student that is quarantined due to COVID-19 should quarantine for 5 days. They may return to school after 5 days if they have been symptom-free for 24 hours. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We will continue to share updates through our website and social media accounts.
