The White Hall School District has updated its attendance procedures for onsite students for the 2020 – 2021 school year. This update is intended to provide clarification so we can ensure consistency across the district during COVID-19, as we follow all state and national directives for contact tracing.
Effective Wednesday, September 16, 2020:
Students who are attending school (onsite) are expected to be in attendance on their campus unless they meet one of the following criteria:
• The White Hall SD Point of Contact has advised student to stay home or student receives advisement from a medical professional (submit documentation to school office)
• There is a positive case within the student household
• Student is waiting on COVID-19 test results
• Student is under an ADH recommended quarantine
Students may continue to learn through Google classroom if they meet one of the above criteria and will not be counted absent with completion of assignments. Students not meeting the above criteria will be counted absent and will follow the attendance policy in the White Hall Student Handbook.
